Fox Business’ Stuart Varney confronted Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy over his criticism of Nikki Haley and her family at the third GOP primary debate.
Ramaswamy questioned Haley’s daughter’s use of TikTok despite the former U.N. ambassador’s stance on the app, and also criticized Haley’s record on foreign policy.
Ramaswamy defended his remarks by stating that he was criticizing Haley for being oblivious to where the next generation of Americans get their information.
Fox Business’ Stuart Varney asks 2024 candidate Vivek Ramaswamy about his tense exchanges with Nikki Haley at the GOP debate, including Haley calling him “scum”:
“Why did you go after her family? And her clothing? No woman’s going to like that.” pic.twitter.com/Gf592PHwZ2

“You called out Nikki Haley’s daughter for using TikTok. She then called you scum. Why did you go after her family and her clothing? No woman is going to like that,” questioned Varney.
“The criticism wasn’t of Nikki Haley’s daughter. It was of Nikki Haley for having being completely oblivious to where the next generation of Americans is actually getting their information,” Ramaswamy pressed.
His comments have drawn pushback from Ronna McDaniel, who cited his low polling numbers and suggested he “needs a headline” after his swipes at Haley and the party.
