The last known surviving daughter of Racing Horse Secretariat, nicknamed Trusted Company, has died at the age of 34, according to a journalist tracking her life.

Bev D, owner of Bright Futures Farm in Cochranton, Pennsylvania, has been caring for Trusted Company since 2018.

Dee said of Trusted Company, “She’s the first one people go to when they come over and when they have visitors she gets more attention than everyone else.” “Oh, they hugged him, they cried. Hug him some more, fed him lots of things – but, it had an impact like I never imagined.”
Apart from arthritis, which sometimes causes lameness, Bev said Trusted Company was happy in form during his life, and he was certainly friendly.
Dee said he hopes people will continue to support the other dozen senior horses at the farm, two of which were herd-mates at Trusted Company. Dee has been taking in retired horses for 23 years.
Bright Futures Farm is caring for horses living in their final years, but the farm also cares for other senior animals.
