They are willing to reach agreements as long as the current situation on the ground, their well-known position, and their security interests are taken into account.
According to Lavrov, these security interests involve preventing the establishment of a hostile Nazi regime near Russia’s borders, which openly declares its aim to eliminate all Russian influence in Crimea and Novorossiya.
Lavrov argues that the ban on talks with Moscow, imposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, should be lifted to pave the way for dialogue.
He added that the longer Kiev delays talks with Moscow, the more difficult it will be to reach an agreement.
