Shortly: Are you interested in unidentified flying objects, also called UFOs? Then you might want to check out a special website that provides declassified information on this phenomenon and is run by the Department of Defense.
The Website for the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) is headlined with a message saying its team of experts is leading the U.S. government’s effort to combat Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
The website defines UAP as either airborne objects that are not immediately identifiable, transmedium objects or devices, and submerged objects or devices that are not immediately identifiable.
The site currently contains publicly available, shared information on resolved UAP cases that anyone can browse. In addition to photos and videos, there are also sections on reported trends and FAQs, as well as links to official reports, transcripts, press releases, and other resources that the public might find useful. “The Department is committed to transparency with the American people about AARO’s work on UAPs,” said Brig, Pentagon spokesman. General Pat Ryder.

The AARO website will shortly accept reports submitted privately and securely by current or former U.S. Government employees, military personnel, or contractors with direct knowledge of 1945 UAP-related government programs or activities.
A tool will be added to the website at a later date to allow the public to submit their own reports.
UFOs/UAP have been in the spotlight a lot lately. In July, the House Oversight Committee held a public hearing on UAPs and their impact on national security, public safety and government transparency.
“UAPs, whatever they are, can pose a serious threat to our military and civilian aircraft, and that needs to be understood,” Democratic Representative Robert Garcia of California said during the hearing. “We should encourage more, not less, coverage of UAPs. The more we understand, the safer we will be.”
The excitement had already peaked in June, when David Charles Grusch, a 36-year Air Force veteran, said the US government, its allies and defense contractors had recovered partially and fully intact exotic vehicles that either landed or crashed were. The craft is described as being of non-human origin.
Grusch also claimed the US government had a decades-long history with UFOs, operated an accidental recovery program, and attempted to reverse-engineer extraterrestrial technology. He added that the government has extraterrestrial bodies. It’s all very reminiscent of the X-Files.
